I am entering my first year Zoology student at the University of Bristol. I achieved 10 GCSE's and went on to study Philosophy & Ethics, Biology and Chemistry at A Level. I also have previous experience in one on one tuition :)

Personally lessons I've found engaging are lessons that involve alterative periods of teaching and comprehension as you move through a topic, as it keeps you invested and ensures you have retained key information before moving on so you aren't overwhelmed. But the teaching can largely depend on how the student best learns as some learn using diagrams, discussions, others may need to use videos to better understand topics that are more complex.
