Hi! My name is Britney, and I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor who truly enjoys helping kids learn. Even though I'm a student myself, I take my role as a tutor seriously and always come with fun clear lessons that are easy to follow. I've helped younger classmates and family members improve in Math and English, and I love seeing their confidence grow. As a teen tutor, I focus on making English and Math simple, fun, and easy to understand for younger students. My teaching style is friendly and patient, and I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and games to keep students engaged. A typical lesson starts with a quick review, then I introduce a new topic step-by-step, followed by practice activities and a short review at the end. I understand how kids think because I'm close in age, which helps me explain things in a way they relate to and feel comfortable with. My lessons are ideal for elementary and middle school students, so from grade 1-8 who need extra help, whether they’re struggling with reading, writing, grammar, spelling, or math basics like multiplication, division, and word problems.
