In my classes, I use an interactive, student-centered approach heavily rooted in Total Physical Response (TPR), communicative language teaching, and visuals to keep learning engaging.
A typical 25-to-50-minute lesson plan with me includes:
- Warm-up: A fun icebreaker game or song to build confidence.
- Introduction: Presenting new vocabulary or grammar using clear context and props.
- Guided Practice: Interactive activities and educational games where we practice together.
- Production & Review: An opportunity for the student to speak independently, followed by positive feedback and a reward.
