About Kate
As an ESL tutor with 12 years of experience, I help students from school to college strengthen their English language skills through interactive and innovative lessons. I combine multimedia resources, role-playing, storytelling, and real-life examples to make learning practical and enjoyable.
My teaching covers grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking while linking English to subjects like literature, essay writing, and academic skills. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons based on the student’s pace and learning preferences, using interactive exercises, discussions, and real-world scenarios. Communication is emphasised, encouraging students to speak, listen, write, and comprehend effectively.
Positivity motivates learners, celebrates success, and nurtures a growth mindset. Alongside ESL, I also teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing, providing a comprehensive foundation for academic and everyday English.
