About Mariam
I have been providing sociology lessons to A-level students for over 3 years and have supported them in moving up from D to A Grades. My lessons did not only improve their confidence but also allowed them to enter the universities of their choices due to the increased knowledge in the subject. I studied Sociology at A-level and was one of few that came out very top of the class. I continued this into my university degree and can confidently teach students to be able to achieve the same.

My teaching method focuses specifically on parts of the curriculum that are being learnt by the student. I break down the key themes and ideas as well as developing their knowledge on the key ideologies and how the ideas link together. I provide my students with help on how to structure the essays, what is required by examiners to answer top level exam questions, practice papers as well as how to answer the shorter exam questions. I also help my students with grouping and understanding research methodology questions and provide tricks and tips that they can take with them into the exams.

Mariam is a great tutor. Her expertise in sociology is second to none. She tutored me for my A level sociology exams and she was amazing. She gave thorough explains with with examples that helped me understand key sociological ideas and concepts. Mariam also helped me improve my essay writing skills by showing how to use writing frames which expanded my paragraphs allowing me to give details analysis and evaluation.
Mariam was a great source of assistance with my 8,000 word dissertation. She was very patient and helped me through the whole thing. I was able to change so many things based of her consultations and as a result I achieved the second highest grade in my class. So thankful for her services and I will be hiring her again!
