About Teviot

A former professor of English and Theatre at New York's Long Island University in the United States, I came to Asia in 2005 to teach ESL. I received my Diploma in Teaching ESL and teaching certifications in China and Thailand. Now based in Penang, Malaysia, I continue to create courses for English programs in Brazil, Japan, and online for students from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. College preparation for study abroad is a specialty I much enjoy and can advise you about university studies .

About the lesson

YOUR UNDERSTANDING COUNTS. With several hundred downloadable slideshows and using a variety of interactive platforms. we work together at your own pace to get a full understanding of How English Works. I will give you real tools to master English quickly and easily.

What do you need or want to learn? Proper pronunciation? Accents? American or British Literature? The essentials of English Grammar? Academic or Business Writing? I have taught all these and more and have materials to share. Together we will decide on what topics you need to study most - Listening Speaking, Reading, Writing.
