My teaching is built around one thing — your success. Before any session begins, I take the time to understand your assignment brief, marking criteria, subject, and level, so that every minute we spend together is focused and working directly toward your goal. I adapt completely to each student, whether you are in high school working through your first major essay, an undergraduate tackling a complex research project, or a PhD candidate finalizing your dissertation. Some students need me to build their work alongside them, explaining every decision as we go. Others bring me a draft and need honest, detailed feedback they can act on immediately. Others need focused exam preparation or regular online classes to build their skills and confidence over time. I cover all of these fluidly, shifting between them depending on what you need most in that session.
A typical session runs for one hour and is structured around your most urgent priority. We open by identifying exactly what we are tackling together — whether that is a section of your dissertation, an essay, a research project, a case study, exam prep, or a discussion post. We then get straight to work, focused and productive, with me guiding and supporting every step. We close every session with a clear summary of what we achieved and what your next steps are, so you always leave knowing exactly where you stand.
