About Ian
I have taught for 20 years and have taught hundreds of students many of whom have gone on to great success in the profession. I am also a maker and am always learning more myself. I have extensive experience in ceramics as well as sculpture, I enjoy teaching art and design theory.

I find that everybody has different needs so tailor my teaching to the needs of the individual. I find peoples temperaments determine the kind of art they make so it is important to find the right medium and way of working that suits each individual.
I am familiar with the CAPS theory curriculum for Design and Visual Art.
