About Charlotte

I am an experienced and qualified TEFL teacher and have taught English in different countries and settings. I worked in London for 2 years teaching English at a language school for students visiting London to learn English. I taught students aged 5+ from all different countries and at all levels. I have also previously worked abroad in China teaching English to children aged 3-6 years old. I also have experience private tutoring and teaching English to beginners adults.

I am currently working full time as an online tutor and I am only offering online lessons at this time.

About the lesson

Since most of my teaching experience is with younger children, I believe that my teaching methods help children to learn English in a fun and simple way! I enjoy using games and activities to make the learning more interesting and engaging. With all ages, I like to use methods to help each individual learner and help students learn in the best way for them, as everyone learns differently. Once we understand how you best learn, we can tailor lessons to fit around your needs and ways of learning.

I also have experience of learning languages myself, as I have had private language lessons in both mandarin and Italian in the past, so I can appreciate and understand the different methods and ways of language learning. This has helped me to understand what personally helped me in my learning, and be able to apply this to my own teaching.

Perfect! I like the english lessons with Charlotte very much! We have a good connection together. She is friendly, smiley, on time. She understands what I need. She is very patient and helpful. The lessons are appropriate, organized, varied and very pleasant! I absolutely recommend her!

It has been wonderful learning with Amelie so far! Amelie always come ready to learn and with a lot of motivation and enthusiasm to learn more. We are working on building up more vocabulary and more complex sentences, as well as working on precision and using natural everyday language. We have been focusing a lot on listening skills to start listening more for details, and role play speaking activities to work on confidence in everyday situations and conversations. I look forward to more lessons together!
