About Thirisha

Who am I? I am Thirisha Subramaniam, a passionate Bharathanatyam dancer with years of experience in performing, choreographing, and teaching. Dance has been an integral part of my life, allowing me to express emotions, tell stories, and connect with others. I have had the privilege of collaborating virtually with dancers from different countries, participating in international dance competitions, and even volunteering to teach Bharathanatyam to students from underprivileged backgrounds. My journey has not only deepened my love for the art but also strengthened my commitment to passing it on to the next generation. Why do I want to teach? Teaching dance is not just about passing on steps and techniques; it is about inspiring, nurturing confidence, and helping students find their own rhythm in life. I believe that every student has a unique connection with dance, and my goal is to guide them in discovering their potential. I want to create a space where my future students feel empowered, disciplined, and expressive, whether they aim to pursue dance professionally or simply find joy in movement. Dance has given me so much, and now, I want to give back by sharing my knowledge, experience, and passion with those who are eager to learn.

About the lesson

Students age: 5 and above Class duration: 2 hours per week (conducted on weekends) Students will be receiving online notes in each class. Students will get the chance to collaborate with other students. Students will also get the opportunity to join famous dancers' workshops to gain more knowledge about dance
