About Kamo
Hello, my name is Kamo, and I am a dedicated and passionate tutor who is committed to helping students reach their academic potential. I currently have experience tutoring Business Studies and Mathematical Literacy, and I understand the importance of making learning clear, engaging, and enjoyable.
As a university student studying Politics and Economics, I have developed strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills that I bring into every lesson. My tutoring approach is patient, professional, and focused on understanding each student's individual needs. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and working through challenges without feeling judged.
In my lessons, I focus on explaining concepts in a simple and practical way, using relevant examples and exam-style questions to help students apply what they have learned. I also place strong emphasis on preparation, revision, and building confidence for tests and examinations.
I am proficient in English and Setswana and can teach in either language when appropriate. My lessons are primarily aimed at Grade 10–12 learners studying Geography

My approach to private tutoring is centred around patience, understanding, and helping each student build genuine confidence in their abilities. I believe every learner has a different learning style, so I adapt my lessons to suit the student’s individual needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
I offer tutoring in **Business Studies and Mathematical Literacy**, with a strong focus on understanding concepts rather than simply memorising information. My methodology combines clear explanations, practical examples, guided activities, exam-style questions, and regular revision. I also help students develop effective study techniques, time management, and examination strategies.
I am proficient in **English and Setswana** and can conduct lessons in either language where appropriate, while ensuring that important academic terminology is clearly understood.
A typical lesson begins by identifying what the student already understands and where they need additional support. We then work through the topic step-by-step, using examples and questions to reinforce the concepts. Towards the end of the lesson, I assess their understanding and identify what should be revised or practised before the next session.
My lessons are suitable for Grade 10–12 learners, particularly students preparing for tests, examinations, assignments, or learners who simply want to strengthen their understanding of Business Studies or Mathematical Literacy. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming to improve an already good performance, I provide a supportive and structured learning environment where they can progress at their own pace.
What makes me unique is my ability to connect with learners on a personal level while maintaining a professional and goal-oriented approach. I aim not only to help students improve their marks, but also to develop the confidence and independent learning skills they can carry into their future studies.
