About Nichole
I am a certified teacher who currently works in an elementary school and brings over 14 years of classroom experience teaching kindergarten and first grade. I now work with English language learners, helping students develop strong language and literacy skills. As both an educator and a mom of two, I understand how important it is for parents to trust the person supporting their child’s learning. Provide structured, personalized literacy instruction designed to build strong foundational reading skills. My lessons focus on phonics and sound-symbol relationships, helping students understand how letters and sounds work together. I teach decoding strategies so students can confidently sound out unfamiliar words and become more independent readers.
For younger or struggling readers, I support early and emergent reading skills, including letter recognition, phonological awareness, blending sounds, and developing reading fluency and comprehension.
I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach, a structured, multisensory method proven to help students—especially those who struggle with reading or show signs of dyslexia—build strong, lasting reading skills.
