About Connor

I have a long history of creating art, and now work as a full time comic artist for myself. I've worked with actors, writers, producers and more on different projects over the years, including custom comic portraits, comic art commissions, and comic books.
I'm constantly self-educating and learning from others in the art community and online- I love to absorb new information.
Former students of mine in the dance community have said that my teaching style, as well as the ideas I communicate, are easy to understand and put into practice. This skill is something I bring over to the art world, where my goal is to make it as easy as possible to understand so you can master the skills when you're on your own.

About the lesson

Communication of ideas and technique will be easy to understand & absorb with me.
A preliminary review of skill level and an understanding of your goals will determine where to start. From basics to intermediate levels we will explore the anatomy of faces and bodies, how the muscle shape appears different depending on angle or position, facial expressions and how to accurately map the face so you get the proportions right each time, proper use of lighting, negative space, and colouring skills.
Depending on your tools and preferences, classes can be done on paper or digitally. If digital, we will cover how to use Adobe Photoshop, and the various tools at your disposal.
