About Dan
I've been filmmaking since I was a kid. I have experience in almost every aspect of it. I've used many different consumer-grade and pro-grade cameras and other equipment. I've used a wide variety of software including Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, Blender, 3D Studio Max, Cubase, and Adobe Audition. When I teach, I like to push the student to do as much as they can on their own. I like to see them face challenges on their own and build confidence as they do. Of course, I'm there to point them in the right direction and see them grow.

The great thing about filmmaking is that it is all hands-on... so... let's make something! I'll show you the basic steps to bring your vision to reality. From concept development to pre-visualization to production to editing and distribution. Of course there are the not so fun parts of filmmaking that we all have to know like local privacy and copyright laws. But that's all part of the journey and important for making sure that you get to share your work with the world after you've finished your masterpiece!

My rate varies ($30 - $60) depending on the needs or desires of the student, what equipment is needed, and where the tutoring will take place.
I also won't charge anything until I know that the student is benefiting from my help.
