About Sivan
I have 8 years of teaching experience in Ontario. I am OCT qualified and have completed an additional qualification in elementary math. I try to really get to know each student so I can help where needed and make math relevant. No two students are the same, and no two lessons are the same with me either.

Learning isn’t all pencil and paper anymore. By learning through problem solving, using real life examples, and showing knowledge through pictures and numbers, students can develop a true understanding of math. I don’t believe that rote memorization is helpful in today’s world when we all have calculators in our pockets. I want my students to be able to look at situations from different angles and see all possibilities in a problem.
