About Gisleine
I am a highly experienced teacher who has taught students of all ages and abilities for over fourteen years. I am fluent in three languages, English, Portuguese, and Japanese, and have a conversational level of Spanish. As someone who has learnt and become proficient in multiple languages, I understand the challenges of learning and speaking a new tongue, and it brings me great joy to help my students grow in ability and confidence.
I have taught in a range of teaching environments including private institutions for young learners, conversational schools for adults, and private, custom classes. These have included full classrooms, up to 35 students, one-on-one adult lessons, and small adult classes.
I am of Japanese and Brazilian descent and I grew up in Sao Paulo before moving to Japan with my family when I was 14. My family moved to Australia 14 years ago and I recently moved here. In my free-time, I like to read, write, listen to music and go to concerts. I am also an avid traveler, who loves to experience new cultures and ways of being.
