About Mide

My name is Mide, and I am a Year 13 student studying the International Baccalaureate with Higher Level Geography. I achieved an 8 in GCSE Geography, and through my IB studies I have continued to develop a deeper understanding of both human and physical geography.

I decided to tutor because I understand how difficult Geography can sometimes feel for students, particularly when it comes to remembering case studies, understanding complex processes, and structuring strong exam answers. Having recently gone through the GCSE system myself, I know the techniques that help students improve their understanding and perform well in exams.

I believe that with the right explanations, clear structure, and regular practice, any student can build confidence and improve their results. My aim is not only to help students achieve strong grades, but also to make Geography more interesting and accessible so they can approach the subject with greater confidence.

As a tutor, I focus on being patient, supportive, and encouraging, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills step by step.

About the lesson

Lessons are typically 1–2 hours and are delivered primarily online. I tutor GCSE Geography students, focusing on building strong understanding of key concepts, case studies, and exam technique.

As an IB HL Geography student, I teach using clear explanations, structured notes, and regular past paper practice. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, helping them develop confidence and improve their ability to write high-scoring answers in exams. My goal is to make Geography understandable, manageable, and engaging while supporting students to achieve their best results.
