About Hannah
I have been teaching GCSE and A-level geography for the last 10 years (including a year overseas teaching the IB). I graduated from Exeter university with a 1st class degree in geography in 2008 and then went on to train as a Geography teacher at the University of Oxford. While I am new to tutoring, the results of my students in school across the last 6 years have been consistently high and above the national average. Last year 72% of my students achieved A*-B, 51% A*-A and I had a 100% pass rate. At GCSE, I have 100% pass rate.
I have taught a number of exam boards and am confident with the assessment criteria for a range of qualificatins. I work hard to ensure my planning is thorough and I offer students a range of support with both building their knowledge and focusing on exam technique and assessment, to help build confidence for their exams.
