I am a friendly and approachable tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and more than 15 years of experience supporting students in GCSE Mathematics and Computer Science. Over the years, I have helped learners of all abilities gain confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve results they are proud of.

My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I know that some topics can feel overwhelming at first, so I focus on breaking them down into simple, manageable steps. I also like to use real-life examples and interactive problem-solving to make lessons more engaging and relevant. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and enjoying the progress they make. In Mathematics, I teach the full GCSE syllabus, covering number skills, algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving strategies. In Computer Science, I cover programming, algorithms, data representation, and systems architecture. I am very familiar with the major exam boards (AQA, OCR) and make sure students are well-prepared by practising exam-style questions and refining their exam techniques. I offer both online lessons and in-person tutoring in the Chelmsford area, giving families flexibility to choose what works best for them. Parents often tell me their children feel more motivated and less anxious after lessons—a result I value just as highly as exam success.
