As a tutor I believe that there is no need to remember information if you can understand it. I believe in a unique approach to teaching that involves understanding fundamentals and key concepts and using these rules to piece different pieces of logic together so knowledge is fully understood and things can be worked out by the student themselves rather than the traditional methods of plain memorisation and repetition that many students are taught in school.
