About CARLA
I am a Portuguese native speaker, graduated in Portuguese Studies, and passionate for Modern Foreign Languages since early age, and strongly believe that anyone can learn, and by learning it helps break barriers and connects people at a deeper level of mutual understanding, besides expanding career opportunities and pursuing dreams and goals in life.
I've been a teacher/tutor for many years, and worked as a Pedagogical Coordinator in an English/Spanish School( as foreign languages) for nearly 4 years. I had the valuable experience of living abroad, which truly changes and shapes you into a more open-minded individual.

My classes are engaging and tailored to each student's needs/purpose ,and levels of difficulty, focusing on how do people really speak in real-life situations, for example.
Learning a new language can be exciting , it needs practising on a daily basis by doing things you enjoy, such as watching movies, listening to music/podcasts ,or reading the news.
I believe that above everything else learning a new language should be a fun experience, and I teach and support my students in that fashion, always motivating them to keep their goals in mind and never to give up!
