About Natalie
I am currently attending the University of Minnesota to obtain my master's in Counselor Education.
In the meantime, I am using the skills I gained from teaching to facilitate growth in more students. I am passionate about reading and engaged learning, and love to build strong relationships with my students as they grow in their confidence as readers and writers.
Library sessions are also an option.

As a tutor, I connect with the student's interests to build lessons and interactions that are meaningful. This allows the student to build confidence and make strong connections that can be transferred to school and real-world reading.
Each lesson is tailored to the student depending on their specific areas of strength and need. All lessons begin with a warm-up/review, before moving into the topic of the session. We end with reflection, and, occasionally, a game.
I bring joyful interactions with reading and literacy that build confidence in the student to allow learning in and out of tutoring sessions.
