About Guy
I have been teaching college mathematics and statistics courses for over 15 years, from introductory and remedial courses to upper level courses. I have delivered lectures in both face to face and online formats. I have taught students from all background and from many age groups. My ultimate goal is to understand the needs of my students and successfully have an impact in their success on Mathematical courses.

My approach to teaching as a tutor is to:
- be very patient with students.
- understand their needs, strengths and weaknesses
- facilitate learning by using methods that meet the
pedagogy challenges as well as the curriculum of the class.
- direct the students in successfully doing and writing mathematics by themselves
- strive to maximize active learning in my lessons
according to my students’ needs and using technology when necessary
- provide students with detailed notes for the content of my lessons based on the topic covered by the student's teacher
- Carefully select problems in a worksheet to cover and assess the main objectives contained in the topic covered.
- At the end of the lesson, students are encouraged to reflect on the lesson covered to identify what they have learned and concepts they are not fully comfortable with, for further explanation and practice at the next meeting.
