Hi, I’m Nia! I'm a passionate math tutor and performer who makes learning math clear, confidence-boosting, and fun (ideally). I have a strong academic foundation in Applied Mathematics from Emory University and years of competitive math experience, I help students master everything from algebra to AP Calculus and Statistics. I’ve been part of top-ranking math teams, conducted university-level research, and taught students from elementary through college. But here’s what sets me apart: I also have a background in comedy, performance, and storytelling. As a stand-up comic, writer, and improviser, I know how to make tough concepts click by connecting them to real-life, relatable examples—and by creating a learning environment that’s engaging, supportive, and never intimidating.
