About Kiera
I graduated from the University of Denver in 2022 with a degree in mathematics. For the past year, I have been tutoring middle school and high school students privately in DC and really enjoying it. I also studied film in school and have been doing some freelance video editing work since graduation. I love watching movies and in my free time I love finding new movie theaters to go to!

My students normally bring me school work they would like to work on together or I suggest a math book to purchase so that we can work through it together (for example, an SAT prep book). My goal is to be encouraging and work through problems together in a manageable way to get students feeling more confident in their abilities. I want to help students not to be overwhelmed by their math classes/math abilities and ask questions to make sure the way I am approaching a topic is making sense for them.
