About Yacqub
I’ve always had teachers who supported me and helped me achieve the best grades I could, and their encouragement showed me how much of a difference a good teacher can make. This inspired me to start tutoring and give younger students the same support and confidence. I have experience tutoring at Kumon and enjoy helping students understand difficult topics.

I have experience tutoring at Kumon, where I developed patience and learnt how to explain topics clearly to students of different abilities. My lessons are friendly, interactive and focused on building confidence as well as understanding. I adapt my teaching to each student, using clear explanations, examples and practice questions. I’m currently a sixth-form student studying Maths, Economics and Physics, and I’m happy to tutor younger students and GCSE students.
