About Thea
I am a qualified maths teacher. I also completed a TEFL level 5 course in 2020. I therefore can help children learning maths where English is not their first language.
Our own children are almost finished with their tertiary studies and I am starting to teach online now.
I enjoy exercise (gyming or taking our two dogs for a 5km walk), cooking nice spicy food, reading and watching a detective story with my husband.

My teaching method is first finding out what the student struggles with;what he or she wants from me.
I like to do an example of the problem with the learner, explaining as we go.
Thereafter I want the student to try an ease problem, with me assisting.
The student should then get a few problems to practise the new work himself or herself.
