About Bianca
Hi! My name is Bianca, and I'm a nursing student at Seton Hall University with a passion for helping others learn and succeed. I currently work as a Nursing Peer Tutor at my university's Academic Resource Center, where I help students better understand challenging concepts, prepare for exams, and develop effective study habits.
Along with my tutoring experience, I have hands-on clinical experience working in the hospital, including medical-surgical and intensive care settings. These experiences have helped strengthen my understanding of anatomy, physiology, and nursing concepts, and I love being able to connect what we learn in the classroom to real-life situations.
As a student myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when a subject just isn't clicking. I strive to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace. I'm patient, approachable, and always willing to explain something in a different way until it makes sense.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them feel more confident in their abilities and become more independent learners!

As a nursing student and experienced peer tutor, I understand how overwhelming subjects like anatomy, physiology, and nursing can be. My goal is to make learning less stressful by breaking down difficult concepts into simpler explanations and helping students find study methods that work best for them.
I believe everyone learns differently, so I adjust my teaching approach based on each student's needs. During a typical session, I like to start by identifying the topics the student is struggling with, reviewing the material together, and then using practice questions, diagrams, and real-life examples to reinforce their understanding. I also focus on active recall and critical thinking rather than just memorizing information.
What sets me apart is my experience as both a nursing student and a peer tutor. I know what it's like to struggle with challenging material, and I enjoy helping students build their confidence. My clinical experience also allows me to connect classroom concepts to real-world healthcare situations.
I offer tutoring for high school and college students, especially those taking anatomy, physiology, and introductory nursing courses. Whether you're preparing for an exam, struggling with a specific topic, or looking to improve your study habits, I'm here to help you succeed!
