About Kundan

Hi, I’m Kundan, and I’m passionate about making maths easier and more enjoyable for students. I’ve always loved teaching and have over a year of experience tutoring maths for Years 5-10. Growing up in Western Australia, I’ve spent my whole life playing soccer, cricket, and chess.

I understand that maths can be challenging and even overwhelming at times. My goal is to help break down those difficulties and turn them into opportunities for growth.

My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Methodology:

I focus on creating a student-centered learning environment, where I tailor each session to the individual needs of the student. My methodology emphasizes building a strong foundation in key mathematical concepts, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging problem-solving skills. I utilize active learning techniques, such as questioning and real-world applications, to engage students and ensure they can confidently apply what they've learned.

Typical Lesson Length:

Each lesson typically lasts for 60 minutes. This duration allows ample time to cover new material, practice problems, and review any difficult concepts. However, I am flexible and can adjust the length based on the student's needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

I am currently studying medicine in Gold Coast and have over a year of experience in tutoring maths for students in Years 5-10. My background in medicine has further sharpened my analytical skills, which I apply to my teaching approach.

My lessons are designed for students in Years 5-10 who are looking to strengthen their maths skills. Whether they need help with foundational topics or more advanced material, I provide personalized instruction to meet their goals.
