About Kirsty
I have been teaching English to Year 6 since qualifying as a primary school teacher in 2010. Having been an English Coordinator and a SENCo, I have an abundance of knowledge and experience of the primary curriculum and making English accessible, engaging and fulfilling for a range of students.
As well as classroom teaching experience, I have held many one to one and small group sessions for those that need extra support, as well as those that benefit from being challenged.

We can work through what has been provided by school; alternatively, I can provide lessons and resources in order to catch up / fill any gaps in learning or to stretch and extend, depending on your child's needs.
Personalised learning is integral to my approach. By getting to know an individual's learning style and interests, teaching and learning can be tailored specifically for them.
