About Charlotte

Hi, I'm Charlotte! I am a Primary School Teacher based in Guildford with over 7 years of teaching experience and a passion for helping children grow in confidence and achieve their full potential. As a mum of two, I understand how important it is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where every child feels comfortable and encouraged.

Outside of teaching, I love reading, learning new things, and keeping active through running. I bring this enthusiasm into every tutoring session, making lessons as fun, engaging, and interactive as possible. I believe children learn best when they enjoy what they're doing, so I always aim to finish each session with a fun learning game to reinforce their understanding. I do have a competitive side, so don't be surprised if I get just as involved in the games as your child!

As an experienced tutor in Maths, English, and Phonics, I am dedicated to helping every child develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. I understand that no two children learn in the same way, which is why I carefully tailor each session to meet your child's individual needs, abilities, and learning style. Whether your child needs support with reading, writing, phonics, spelling, grammar, maths, or preparing for SATs, I create engaging and personalised lessons that make learning enjoyable while ensuring steady progress. My aim is to build confidence, foster a love of learning, and help every child achieve their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment.
