Hi, I’m Kelty, a qualified teacher with over 12 years of experience in primary education and currently Head of Maths at a successful primary school.

I specialise in Key Stage 2 maths tuition and 11+ preparation but can tutor in any subject at a primary level as needed. My aim is to build children’s confidence whilst developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, rather than relying on memorisation alone.
Lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs. I use a range of proven teaching approaches, including visual representations, practical resources, retrieval practice and problem-solving activities to help children make sustained progress. Whether a child needs support closing gaps in learning, preparing for SATs, or working towards selective school entrance tests (11+), lessons are carefully planned to provide both challenge and success.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes long and include regular assessment to identify strengths, address misconceptions and track progress over time.
Alongside my role as Head of Maths, I am a KS2 Borough trained writing Moderator and have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities and learning needs. I am passionate about helping children develop confidence, resilience and enjoyment in learning.

Online lessons are £30 per hour.
In person £40 if you come to me otherwise they vary between £50-£60 depending on travel distance.
