I’m Ellie, a qualified primary teacher who’s calm, organised and genuinely committed to helping children feel confident in their learning. I am a qualified Primary school teacher who genuinely loves helping children grow in confidence and realise what they’re capable of. Working closely with pupils (especially those who need a bit of extra support) has always been the most rewarding part of teaching for me, and it’s also inspired me to offer personalised tutoring. I have strong subject knowledge across all primary areas, including reading, writing, grammar and maths, and I have significant experience supporting Year 6 pupils through their SATs. I’m very familiar with the National Curriculum and use this to plan structured, achievable steps that help children feel secure and motivated. A typical lesson begins with a quick check of what your child already understands, followed by clear modelling and supportive guided practice. I use calm, encouraging dialogue, tailored tasks and practical strategies to keep learning focused and enjoyable. Each session ends with a short review so your child knows exactly what they’ve achieved and what their next steps are. I have taught whole classes, small groups and 1:1 sessions, and I’m experienced in adapting learning for a wide range of needs. My aim is always the same: to help children feel confident, capable and proud of their progress.
