About Mia
My experience tutoring for the ACT began shortly after I achieved a perfect score (36). When traditional tutoring centers had not worked for me, I decided to change my approach to taking the test, and have been using this approach for the past 8 years to help each of my students achieve and even surpass their target scores. I recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with my Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business and am currently pursuing my Master's in International Business.

Rather than reading off the solution explanations from a book, I personally take each exam to that I can teach from the students’ POV. I provide students with past ACT exams to finish for homework and spend time in lessons reviewing material and identifying students’ strengths and weaknesses in order to provide a tailored approach to each student.
