About Joe
I am experienced professional with 20+ years of experience in the field of computer science. I also have a passion for Math at all levels. I enjoy working with students and helping them better understand the content they are learning. I ensure my students have a base understanding of the content and then build on that so they truly understand the topic. The "a ha" moment is what I enjoy most when I am tutoring and love to see my students ready to do the work on their own. I have my Master's Degree in Teaching with a focus on Middle School Mathematics.

I use inquiry based and student-centered strategies to teach students. I am a big believer in the fact that all students can learn, but some learn differently than others. I find new ways to bring in their interests and real-world experiences to help make connections with the content we are learning.
