About Sabrina
I have a lot of prior experience having been a secondary school teacher for nearly 11 years, I teach across the 3 Key Stages in RS and the full A Level for both Philosophy & Ethics and Sociology. I am able to address any subject specific misconceptions with tutees, review assessment objectives and command words to ensure better access to exam questions and use different learning strategies shaped to the student e.g. quizzes, recall and retrieval, video clips, podcasts, flash cards and mind maps.

The techniques I have used with previous successful students are 1:1 quizzing, reviewing studies / sources of wisdom and authority, utilising mind mapping and the Leitner method, as well as regularly 'walking talking' mocks by reviewing mark schemes and examiner reports to access what the exam board are looking for. I have 5 years experience teaching and tutoring for both the AQA and OCR, have a PGCE and Master's degree. A typical lesson is 1 hour however I work according to the needs of the student e.g. SEN requirements and also previously offer tuition between 30 - 55 minutes long. I can offer Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
