About McKenzie

I became a teacher because I love the English language, however, I have remained a teacher because I love sharing my passion with others! I understand that learning another language can be scary and embarassing, but it is my goal to make my students feel empowered, comfortable, and just maybe help them fall in love with the language in the way I have!

I have a bachelor's degree in English from UMASS Boston, and a master's degree in philosophy from Trinity College Dublin. In 2022, I completed my TESOL certificationand have been teaching English to international students ever since. About the lesson

Our first meeting together will allow me to assess your current English level, identify strengths and weaknesses, and help me understand your personal goals and reasons for learning English.
Then, we will work together to develop a lesson plan to achieve your goals!

I have experience working with A2-C1 level students of all ages. I have worked with students to enhance their skills for their individual professions, as well as prepare for a higher education program in English.
