About Alasdair
I first started Esol teaching in a prison. In this role I taught from pre entry level often to people who are illiterate in their own language. I have also given English lessons to student groups from various other countries.. One thing that I believe makes me stand out from a lot of the competition is that I speak three other languages. In my view this enables me to understand my own learner's difficulties in speaking the language

I have a qualification in teaching English as a foreign Language and have taught the subject for the past fifteen years. I have a degree already so I can teach english particularly related to Degree level science I also teach pre entry level up to level 2. I like to use interactive methods to get students learning and try to ensure a balance of reading, writing, speaking and listening in my lessons
