About Marcienne
Hi, I'm Marcienne (or Teacher Marci for short)! I’m passionate about learning, and it would be an honour to help you discover that same love for learning.
As a child, I dreamt of becoming an actress – and now, teaching lets me put on my “actress hat” every day. I’ve worked with students of all learning styles, from those just starting to read to those preparing to ace their next big test. We’ll work hard, but we’ll have fun along the way too!
With years of experience in diverse school settings, I’ve not only taught students, but also supported and mentored other teachers. I’ve also written curriculum and assessments across a few subjects, which gives me a deep understanding of how to tailor lessons to each of my student's needs. My background in education helps me create a well-rounded approach, ensuring every student gets the best support possible.

I tailor each lesson to how your child learns best, using visuals, hands-on activities, and short breaks to keep them engaged. Whether it’s practice, reading comprehension, or decoding skills, each session focuses on their individual needs.
Your child will be challenged, but also feel a sense of accomplishment. There’s always a bit of fun, too!
Lessons include both guided work with me and independent practice. I can help with homework, test prep, or focus on specific areas where your child needs extra support. I am able to work on English or Maths at Primary school level.
