About Andy
I have been playing electric and acoustic guitar for more than 25 years. I have participated in various Battle of the Bands series organized by local colleges during the late 90’s with my schoolmates. Though my band didn’t win, it has positively strengthened my love, passion, and curiosity towards guitar. I have a few favorite genres such as Rock, Alternative, and Blues. Even though I have a full-time professional career in the retail and supply chain industry, I have never neglected guitar & music. I still consistently play and practice my skills for at least an hour a day no matter how busy I am. I have also performed on various occasions & humble achievement below:
1. Recipient of Rockstar Award from Rockschool for on grade 4 electric guitar, being the highest score in Malaysia
2. Performed friends' and relatives' wedding functions.
3. Performed at various companies' annual dinners in KL and overseas.
4. Lead guitarist for a worship band for a foreign community church in Shanghai with around 200-300 congregants.
5. Lead guitarist and ex-singer in a worship band for a local mega church in KL with a combined congregation of 3,000 people
Other than performing, I enjoy teaching electric/acoustic guitar privately for all age groups during weekends or evenings after work. I have a deep passion for connecting people through music and I am also a strong believer that music can heal one’s soul and it can also improve one’s problem-solving skills. It is so powerful that it can create positive energy and bring all different nations of different cultures together. Thank you!!!

I can teach from basic to intermediate and to master level in accordance with your needs. I can assess your level before we begin the lesson. I can prepare you for official Rockschool examinations or any other equivalent examining boards. I will teach you step by step with an easy-to-understand guide to master the instrument in the shortest period of time.

Not knowing if I could even play the guitar and now being able to belt out a few songs. Thanks to Andy, I have a few songs that I can show off my playing.
He comes on time despite in the evening! My 10YO enjoys his guitar lesson , he also sings and teaches my son to sing along while strumming the guitar. Teacher Andy sometimes brings the paddle gear to show my son how to use it to improve the sound of guitar.
Andy is very experienced as a guitarist and is willing to share his knowledge in the field.
Love his lessons as he is able explain in a way I can understand.Andy is a very professional and reliable tutor. His live performance and tutoring experience has improved my learning journey. I am now able to play a few songs after 2 months of lesson. Thank you very much ;)
