About Gail
I am a retired teacher of 30 years. In my career, I was an intervention specialist for grades K-12. I am comfortable teaching all ages and most core subject matter. I have also raised 3 children of my own, so I am aware and knowledgeable about home environment factors that can affect learning. I am very flexible and I am always willing to change the way I approach a lesson if that is necessary.

I will teach according to how you learn best. I like to use a multi- sensory approach to help students retain the information. A typical lesson will include:
Stating goals for the lesson, providing examples of expectations, use of visuals to present the material, opportunities for practice and review, suggestions for improvement, praises for achievement.
I spend time getting to know my students and I gear lessons to the student's needs and interests.
I am willing to teach phonics, reading, math, and writing for grades K-12.
