About Stephanie
I graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Physics degree and completed a TESL Diploma course from the Canadian College of Educators. I have 3 years of experience tutored students from grades 2-12 in math and science through my positions at Mathnasium and the University of Toronto's Math Department. In addition, I have 20 hours of experience teaching adult ESL specifically online.

In my ESL lessons, I encourage students to speak as much as possible no matter what the level of English is, so similar to chatting with your friends in a coffee shop. In addition, I take a learner-centered approach to my lessons, which gives students plenty of opportunities to work on speaking skills and take an active role in the classroom.
