About Alexandra
I have worked freelance for a tutoring agency since 2019 while working full time since 2017 in banking and insurance. I currently work as a talent acquisition specialist. I can accommodate virtual sessions as well as in person depending on area. I have a background in finance (BComm) from Concordia as well as a Certificate in HR management from HEC. My approach to tutoring english as a second language is to connect with the student ‘s general interests and bring relevant material to the table. Always trying to keep my students engaged through the use of virtual tools , power points and videos. I have previously introduced certain authors to students and presented them with context. i also believe strongly in application or new knowledge through interactive games.
