About Josh

I have been playing basketball for over twenty years, from the time I was about three years old. I played on all kinds of teams growing up including school, travel, AAU, park district, etc. Although high school basketball was the highest level I played at, I still keep up my skills and play regularly to this day. I have a passion for the game and love mentoring others who are coming up in the sport to improve their skills. I have experience working with kids from elementary school up through college. Whether you want to improve shooting, ball handling, footwork, defense, etc., I can help with all of it.

I enjoy seeing the progress my trainees make from week to week as I work with them to correct mistakes and improve their skills. I also love talking about the game of basketball, which teams/players we like or don't like, with the people I train

About the lesson

Talk with trainee/parent to determine what skills they want to improve on. Develop a plan to work with trainee, including what they should practice on their own time. Meet for 1 hour per week or however ever often is agreed upon.
