About Chris

I am very proficient in Shooting technique---having learned from the best shooting instructors in the USA.

Love watching student-athletes gain confidence by significantly improve their shooting accuracy.

Graduate Assistant at Akron University, Ohio in late 1970's.

Ten years as an Assistant Basketball Coach at the D-1 level---Akron University, Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, and Eastern Michigan University.

About the lesson

Student-athletes can expect a well-organized, intense workout including shooting fundamentals, drills, and short teaching seminars. Sessions are 90 minutes long. I will significantly improve the athlete's shooting accuracy.

All ages from beginningers to Div-1 collegiate student-athletes.

Make sure to hire a teacher---someone who understands the game and how to teach the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, rebounding, etc. There is a big difference between a teacher and a trainer. A trainer can help you get in shape but may not really know how to teach you the game.

Worked with an adult student recently who was inexperienced in basketball and was impressed with his overall improvement in shooting accuracy in one session. Hard work and practice pay off if you've mastered the basic fundamentals of shooting!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What are my goals for the lessons?

2.What are my expectations of the instructor?

3. What are the instructor's areas of expertise?

Coach Chris ran a very impressive training session. The way he teaches shooting was easy to understand and easy to remember. He also gave us several drills to work on at home and was a great communicator. Will definitely be booking more sessions and look forward to working with him again.

Coach Chris did a great job. After the session my son and I discussed his techniques and temperament. Afterwords, we decided to work with Chris again to improve his basketball IQ in other areas.

Ardale (CoachUp client)

Coach Chris was great!!! He was attentive to my granddaughters and made them feel comfortable and open to his training. Youngest is eager to go to practice tomorrow to see how what she learned today will work.

Adam (CoachUp client)

Coach Chris was receptive to my situation, which is a recently rehabbed knee injury. He suggested warm ups and conditioning that worked for me. We worked on some basics for free throws, crossovers, and 1 on 1 moves, which is what I requested. A few of his suggestions have already helped me improve after one session. I would recommend Chris to anyone looking to improve their game.

Sherri (CoachUp client)

Coach Chris is awesome! Within 30 minutes, I already knew he was one of the best coaches I had! He fixed my flying elbow problem, helped with agility training, and helped me keep my stamina to do more. I will recommend this coach to any other basketball trainers/students out there!

Kris (CoachUp client)

Coach Chris was amazing with my kids! He is patient, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He taught them a lot in an hour. My kids worked hard with him but still had fun! Would highly recommend him!
