About Ryan
Hello, my name is Ryan. I graduated from Stony Brook University in May 2018 and will be back at Stony Brook again for graduate school in the fall. My two areas of focus are in business and social studies. I like to learn about any subject and hope I can help others too. As a student I know studying and school can be difficult sometimes, especially in subjects you're not too fond of. I aim to provide a positive experience and want to contribute to other's success. Anyone can do well with a little patience and some positivity and I'm all about that idea.
I like to see people be happy and find satisfaction in their work. It's nice to put effort into something and get a good result, like when you take a test. Sometimes it can be tough finding that motivation to study but I want to encourage and support whoever I tutor because they are the ones taking the class or the exam. Tutoring is all about benefiting the student, seeing them succeed and be happy is the best thing possible and if I can help in even just a tiny way it is well worth it.
