This summer, I found out late in the short semester that my son was flunking his summer school Chemistry class- the one and last class he needed to pass in order to graduate High School. In desperation I started contacted a lot of tutors, but unfortunately they all declined stating it was probably too late for them to do any good. That is, all except Shan! Who said "it's never too late to try". With only 2 weeks left of school, Shan took up the challenge that scared the other tutors away, and was successful in turning my son's test grades around from earlier E's to B's on his last 2 and final tests to help him earn enough points to pass the class to graduate. He was just fantastic with my son, and definitely earned my respect. I just couldn't thank him enough! I only wish I had started him tutoring my son years ago. There wouldn't have been any need for my son to attend summer school, that's for sure. I believe he would have been on the honor roll instead.
