About Eric
Passionate about teaching and imparting my years of hands-on chemistry knowledge to students excited to learn. Equipped with both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Chemistry, with focuses on organic chemistry, medicinal & pharmaceutical chemistry, and method development chemistry. In addition to my 7+ years of education, including 4+ years of teaching, I also have over a year of synthetic chemistry experience in an industrial R&D environment.
I started teaching organic chemistry and organic chemistry labs at Virginia Tech, where I earned my Masters degree.
Bachelors and Masters degrees in Chemistry, 8+ years of research experience, 4+ years of teaching and tutoring, 1+ years of industrial R&D chemistry experience.

I cater my style to whatever works best for any given student.
I have worked with high school students on both regular and AP chemistry, as well as undergraduate students with both general and organic chemistry topics.
I would find a tutor who has not only studied chemistry, but performed research in the field. Nothing prepares you more for teaching a subject than researching and creating new knowledge in that field.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Try to be honest with your self and communicate the things you do not do well or areas you struggle with. It does you no good to keep practicing your strengths all while ignoring your weaknesses.
