About Kathleen
Kathleen is a double major in secondary education and biology making her well rounded in most fields of science. She has flexible hours and can meet you at any location fit for learning. She has experience working with various ages from elementary to college.
I am from a family of teachers. I started teaching swim lessons at 16yo. In high school I gave free tutoring sessions for kids in my class that were struggling. My passion for teaching lead me on the path to becoming a high school science teacher.
I am a biology ans secondary education major. I have primarily tutored high school/college students, but I have experience teaching elementary students.

The first meeting is designed to get to know the student, their learning style(s), and gain an understanding of the class. I will ask what topics the student is having most difficulty with. I ask they provide a class syllabus and bring classwork/homework to sessions as well as any textbook they are required to have for the course. We will focus on areas where the student is having most difficulty. Different learning styles will be implemented to see how the student best learns.
I have worked with a diverse group of students. I have worked with students with learning disabilities over a wide range of ages.
If you are willing to learn and commit to tutoring, you will greatly benefit. Come prepared and ready to learn for each session.
