About Jillian
I love helping students realize that they are capable of succeeding no matter how hard a subject may be. I try to be relatable with students and encouraging in an effort to build confidence and show that everyone struggles at certain things. Nobody is perfect.
I was a chemistry, biology, and physics tutor for four years in college teaching advanced materials and concepts. I am really good at teaching students how to study and learn in an effective way. This allows them not only to master the subject at hand but can be applied to any subject.

I like to take a step back from the specific subject at hand and help teach students an effective way to study and learn. Teaching individuals how to be more organize and find a method that works for them will help them not necesarily study harder but smarter. Everyone learns different, but once we get a handle on specific methods of learning we can dive into the material.
